The grapes that go into our wines belong to Colchagua, Curicó and Maule Valleys, appellations that enjoy a Mediterranean climate. Winters are cold and rainy while summers are warm during the day and cool at night, mostly due to the cold air coming down from the Andes Mountains, a condition that is perfect for good maturation of the aromas and polyphenols of our grapes. In addition to having ideal weather conditions for optimal development of fruit, our grapes are grown in different soil types that define the personality of each wines.
The vineyards have been planted at different stages, being the oldest 60 years old. The newest plantings were made on rootstocks and varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were planted with clones that were chosen according to the conditions of our terroir.
Our wine cellar has a capacity of 15 million liters, which fully correspond to stainless steel. Additionally we have a barrel room that currently houses 2,900 barrels barrels of French and American oak.
